Perfection!!!!!
The mover with BR Movers could not have gone
better! I was weary about using them after
seeing some of the reviews, but after a while I
noticed the bad reviews were coming from the
same people posting them on every single
website! So i reserved with BR and got my items
safe and sound in New York in 6 days. The quote
remained the same (I gave a very detailed list
of my stuff and what I would need packing for
so there weren't any surprises, I would imagine
these negative nelly's below me didn't do
that). So as a result, everything was
amazing!!! The crew was on time and really
nice. My calls to the company have never gone
unanswered. I wish they were located here in NY
so I could use them every time i move!
Thanks to BR Movers and these dumdums who
posted the same reviews - you made me realize
you can't be trusted - but BR Movers can for
sure!!!

Great Job!
I recently used BR Movers - I chose this company because the rep was very efficient and because they guaranteed a date for the move. I had a few other companies try to give me a window for the move date (I had to reserve the elevator in my building) and try to give me quotes when they didn't even hear what I had. BR Movers showed up on time with 3 guys. The crew leader kept me updated and before you know it all of items are in my apartment. I will say that I paid for extra packing materials but all my items are intact. I won't be moving for a long time but when I do I will be using BR Movers again. Thanks :)

Worst Company Ever, Don't Use them!!!
I initially went through 123 movers.com and made an agreement with one of their partners. However, I was disappointed to receive a call two days before indicating that they will not be able to get there between the scheduled times of 10:30-12:30 but instead will not show up until 3. At that point I contacted BR Movers since 3o'clock was unacceptable for several reasons. Customer Representative Jennifer assured me that 12pm would be no problem. On Saturday Oct 31 (the day of the move) I rushed to the destination from business in New Jersey in order to get there by 12. After waiting one hour I called BR Movers only to be told that they are around the corner. They gave me the cell phone number of the driver in order to contact him directly. Unfortunately he ignored several subsequent phone calls. We then waited another 3 hours all the while trying to contact BR Movers headquarters but were unsuccessful since they did not answer the phone. When the moving men got there 4 hours and 45 minutes late they acted with no sense of urgency, taking longer than the allotted time. While driving on 95 at night in the pouring rain my girlfriend had to drive so that the moving men could follow her since they did not have GPS! To top it all off, even though the web site says that they accept AMEX, the moving men did not accept, leaving her to use her debit card for an amount $200 over the estimate resulting in insufficient funds for her rent. We ended up moving until 11pm on Halloween missing our family obligations.
They cost us extra money, time, and stress. Of course Ron, the General Manager, had no apologies or acts of good faith when I contacted him on Monday, in fact he didnt even call me back, I had to pursue him with 4 phone calls.
I strongly urge you never to even contact them since they lie. Not only are they incompetent but they might be one of the most unprofessional outfits I have ever dealt with.
Through my business, the web, and word of mouth I intend to inform everyone of the most incompetent moving company in the country.

best movers in dc metro
I have used br-movers for both business and personal moving and I can tell you without a doubt,
They are the best at what they do.
Their office staff is always professional, friendly and helpful and the movers are equally as professional, courteous and work with a sense of urgency.
I have seen them disassemble my bosses& desk at this old office and reassemble it at his home office with no problems.
When I found out that needed to be done at the last minute and told them, the foreman that was in charge said No problem Miss, we'll take care of It. and Yes they did.
They impressed my boss so much with their professionalism and work ethic, he personally tipped each & every mover.
I then used them to move me from a single story home to a 2nd floor luxury apartment, and I was sent 2 guys who did a fantastic job! I've had to use other movers for my boss before, but BR-MOVERS is the only company that I wanted to use for my personal move and they certainly didn't disappoint.
There are no hidden fees and unlike other moving companies, they do not start charging you until they are at your home working....not from the minute they leave their home office to come to you!! I will be moving again at the end of the year and you can bet BR-MOVERS are who I will use!!!!!!!

HORRIBLE DO NOT USE!!!!
No integrity, no values...do not use these people. We are now on the phone- after our BR movers came and left trying to find new movers. We had 15 more boxes than the estimate but they wanted to charge us over 1000 dollars more than the estimate. I called the company and asked for Ron the owner who had assured me their estimates are totally accurate and other companies charge you more when they arrive. When I called I was told that Ron was out of the office and they couldn't do anything. The movers showed up 1 hr late and the obnoxious driver would not stay to allow us to settle the difference. I should have listened to the other reviews that were written. These people are were awful.. you do not want people with no integrity moving you. Our new movers said that the 15 more boxes should not change the estimate so drastically. Please be careful with who you choose- do not choose BR MOVERS.

BR = Nightmare
SAVE YOURSELF A LOT OF ANGER & FRUSTRATION AVOID BR MOVERS.
Quite simply, BR Movers was the WORST customer service experience Ive ever had. Literally it seemed as if they were pro-actively trying to cause frustration, anger, and exasperation at every turn.
BR employs very courteous and attentive sales women, who serve as the point of contact until the customer signs up. Unfortunately, every step of the actual move was a nightmare. Great job in sales, horrible job in execution.
-Pick up for furniture: BR arrived later than agreed upon and the personnel were rude & not careful with my items.
-Care of my items: BR damaged 1 piece of furniture & lost 2 boxes. When I raised this, they were patently unhelpful and uncooperative (indeed, their attitude is that I was somehow to blame for their losing damaging items that were in their possession).
-Delivery: BR would NOT commit to a delivery date and provided a 1 week window saying the delivery would happen sometime that week. They provided NO updates or estimates to help me plan for the delivery. I had to constantly call BR several times a day to know when the delivery would arrive.
-Abysmal customer service: when I called to discuss the above issues, BR personnel were beyond rude apathetic. They yelled at me repeatedly for inquiring about a delivery date or for checking to see if they found the boxes they had lost. They were unresponsive and often the phone would go un-answered. When it was answered, BR customer service personnel were often belligerent and always unhelpful. The entire attitude & experience is lets get this customer to sign up as soon as he or she signs up, we get a big deposit so it really doesnt matter how crappy our service is. We have their money and their stuff so they cannot do anything.
SAVE YOURSELF A LOT OF ANGER FRUSTRATION AVOID BR MOVERS.

Nightmare / ripped off
First of all, they came very late because the street was under construction, which was not true, I knew it afterwords.
They said they had never come to the apartment I was living, so I took them to see how the truck came in , etc, but afterwords I knew that they came before. (many stories contain, so I would rather skip to tell it now)
Then after I explained all my apartment building, they started saying that it was too late to do thier job, so they wanted to come to next morning which is my depurture date.
Next morning, They came late again.
The estimate was about $1000, but final cost was more than $4000.
Durling the packaging, I told them that how much the cost would be higer, but the manager told me that it was going to be almost the same, and he added something unclear. So we misunderstood each other. It might have been his on purpose strategy. We don't know, but what he lied to me before indicated how he acts.
I wanted to unload some packages, but the manager told me he had never had such a request, in a bad mood, and also told me that unloading cost $350 per person per hour,(they have about 5 people there).
My stuff came to my new place with different better mover people in OR, but two of Playstation and some boxes are stolen.
I would never ever use or recommend BR MOVERS to anyone.
