Should have gone through them in the first place

We recieved a million quotes from different companies before we moved and most of them were pretty cheap and we immediately got rid of the really cheap ones and narrowed our search down to 4 companies and nations choice was one of them, the other was a company based out of florida that gave us a very competitive quote and also guaranteed a delivery on the exact day we wanted. We called back our rep at nations choice to let them know that we wanted to go with them but the other company guaranteed the desired delivery date and they told me that NO company can guarantee a 1 day delivery date due to a few things, the size of our move was small so whatever company picked us up needed to have almost a full truck before they even considered leaving Minnesota so they couldn't even guarantee a 3 day delivery window, so we decided to go with the florida company that guaranteed the delivery date we wanted, but then all of a sudden we started having problems with the "other" company, as our pick up day approached (also a guranteed pick-up date) we could not get ahold of anyone on the phone or via email to get any information as to when the driver would show up, it seemed that once we booked their services they stopped taking our calls and that worried us quite a bit, so we started looking at alternative routes for companies that could pick us up immediately considering our move was a day away without ANY phone calls returned or initiated by the florida moving company and it seemed everyone that we called could not help us out and all basically said that since we were in Wyoming they could not help us out there and really good luck. Nations choice moving however told us that they could not guarantee that they could pick us up the next day which we needed but they could pick us up within the next 48 hours so we decided to go ahead with them since we were in desperation mode and the other company still hadn't called us. Finally later on that afternoon we recieved the call we were waiting for from Worldwide Van Lines the initial company stating that the driver was held back and couldn't pick us up and that NOBODY ever guaranteed a 1 day delivery window. The driver for Nations Choice, Alex called us the next morning and said he was rerouted to pick us up and he would be at our house either late that night or early the next morning and actually showed up at 6 am and packed, loaded and left on their way to deliver our stuff in Georgia. They in fact did deliver us in 8 days which was 2 days later than we really wanted but they did tell us in the first place that they couldn't guarantee the date so, we were happy to finally get our move picked up by an honest company and the delivery and pick up went smooth and everything wound up great.

We would definately use this company again

During the course of searching for movers to move our family from florida to nebraska for a new job, we interviewed numerous companies and decided on nations choice for a few reasons, the sales rep jeremy was very professional, the price was in the lower range compared to other companies and they had a pretty high rating with the better business bureau with zero complaints. On the move day, the driver and crew member that showed up were very good and communicated with us throughout. the delivery was much of the same and they showed up to deliver when they said they would without any price increases.

Smooth

Our move was from De Pere to Sacramento and it was a fairly large move at 8,500 pounds plus packing services. The movers showed up on time and did a very professional job at packing everything up and moving it from our house to the truck. Delivery was 8 days later and everything showed up in the same manner it left. So with that said, we got what we paid for and have no complaints about this company and would use them again and refer other people to use them.
